What - The IU School of Music at IUPUI presents a Concert On The Canal, with the Jack Gilfoy Quintet and featuring Mary Moss, vocalist.

When - August 23, 6-8pm. Step seats and lawn location are free, table seats by reservation.

Where - Canal side of the Indiana Historical Society, 450 West Ohio St.

Who - The Jack Gilfoy Jazz Quintet:

• Rob Dixon, saxes

• Allen Berk, keyboards

• Steve Dokken, electric bass

• Jack Gilfoy, drums

• Mary Moss, vocals

Why - This is a one of a kind gathering of some key jazz players from the Naptown scene, combining blues, ballads,
R&B, be bop, funk, swing & Latin for an evening of good sounds. All of these jazz players are well known on the Indy
jazz scene but this combination has never been put together before, truly an "art of the moment".
